Abstract

A review is presented of neutron techniques for high pressure experiments. Special emphasis is given to materials, to pressure transmitting media and to the accessible temperature range. Applications to the physics of crystallographic and magnetic phase changes, lattice dynamics and magnetic excitations are indicated.
