Abstract
There are outlined a hundred problems facing mankind that have social significance -- problems which are all based on science or technology or both. The typology can serve as a useful guideline to scientific editors and publishers.
For ‘publications,’ one can also read ‘TV or radio programmes, or audiovisual presentations.’
