Abstract

The word ‘fundamentals’ in the title of this paper is meant literally: only the basics of a Sellarsian account of logic are presented.1 Section B begins the account with a brief general warning, supported by the details of the following section, about what Sellars’ views on language and logic arenot: viz., that they arenot to be classed with those philosophical views I call ‘extended semantic formalism.’ The basics of a Sellarsian account of logic appear in Section C.
