Abstract

In order to contribute to an adequate understanding of the program of explicating cognitive rationality we shall consider three questions. The first is, whether there are prospects for the construction of rational expectation patterns in other than multinomial contexts. The second is, whether and in what sense, the program may be said to be logical. The third is, whether the program can lead to a substantial contribution to the philosophy of science.
