Abstract

The cooperation between surgeons and cardiologists in the management of pacemaker (PM) patients is a result of historical evolution. The cardiologist is responsible for the selection of patients for this treatment, the follow-up and technical problems, the surgeon on the other hand, is responsible for the implantation of the PM system and the test of the reliability of new electrodes.
