Abstract
The shredder plant operating in Liège is based on a principle differing so radically from the processes mentioned previously that it merits a separate description. In particular, as will be seen, the method offers special solutions for the collection and transport of discarded cars and appliances. It is “cold shredding”, developed by George & Cie in Liège in conjunction with Klöckner & Co.
