Abstract
Calibrated apexcardiography has become widely accepted as a method for the non-invasive assessment of cardiac performance (1, 2) and as an indirect method for timing intracardiac mechanical events (3, 4, 5). Its intrinsic value can be further increased by simultaneously recording echocardiographic dimensions (6, 7, 8).
