Abstract
The principal concern of this paper is to show that “transport“ as a locational element merits our full attention. First of all it seems to be one of the most importantlocation factors in the context of the locational decision making of large firms, and moreover in the framework of a regional economy and for development policies it often becomes a driving force, a kind of stimulus for the creation of a growth pole.
