Abstract
It has long been recognized that prosperity, if not the survival of a firm, is more than a matter of luck. Instead of simply muddling through, it involves, among other things, experience, insight, intuition, and innovation, all coming together to focus on what the firm should be and what actions are required to achieve the objectives.
