Abstract
Much has been written about the diagnosis and treatment of galactosaemia in childhood but so far there are only three reports describing the outcome of pregnancies in galactosaemic mothers1–3. The purpose of this paper is to report on two sisters with galactosaemia whom we have followed from the neonatal period, to comment on biochemical observations made during their recent pregnancies and to describe the early progress of their babies.
