Abstract
It has been established that many basic or neutral substances can be fixed on the lysosomes of living cells (Koenig, 1963a and b; Allison et al., 1964a; Robbins et al., 1964; Allison et al., 1965a and b; Bastos et al., 1966; Zelenin, 1966; Barrett et al, 1968; Allison et al., 1973; Dingle et al., 1973b). Among these substances, there are fluorescent dyes, anti-inflammatory agents, cancerogenic products (Allison et al., 1964a) and some highly positively charged metals (Allison et al, 1966; Goldfischer, 1967; Allison et al., 1973)(Fig. 8).
