Mental Health Initiatives for the Eighties
I am delighted to have this opportunity to be here and to participate in this splendid 1979 World Congress on Mental Health. In a world shrunk by modern communications and mutual concerns, it becomes increasingly important that we who work in the mental health field in all areas of the world come together to pool our knowledge and, equally importantly, to share our perspectives. In doing so, we benefit ourselves, our programs, and the individuals that each of us serve.
