Abstract

This, it is said, is the age of the scientific and technological revolution. Science, this implies, with its effect on technological progress, is the principal motive force in contemporary culture and civilization. That is the reason why the development of science is a major concern of nations today, especially of advanced nations. It has become clear that for scientific research to develop effectively in a country, it must have a special very specific organization, different from all other organizations. Questions related to the organization of scientific research are now attracting the widest interest among scientists themselves, for only scientists are capable of fully understanding and evaluating the specific features of organization necessary for the efficient development of scientific work in their fields. Experience has shown that the more involved a country’s scientists are in the organization of science, the more successfully science develops in that country.
