Abstract

Rational approaches to male contraception by interference with spermatozoal motility are:

  1. 1)

The drug-induced interference with the testicular formation of the spermatozoal structures that are essential for motility.

  2. 2)

The drug-induced interference with spermatozoal maturation at the epididymal level.

  3. 3)

The drug-induced interference with the secretions of the accessory glands by immobilizing sub-stances that competitively act with those of the normal secretion or their precursors.

  4. 4)

The drug-induced interference with the ejaculated spermatozoa.
