Abstract
Our discussion of the socioeconomic situation of farm workers in the United States, and particularly of the problems confronting the migratory workers, leads to focusing on unemployment insurance in agriculture. Farm workers have traditionally been excluded from this type of social legislation, yet if it were extended to them — and especially to the migratory workers — it would surely give them some of the income security they so badly need.
