Part of the Studies in Development and Planning book series (SDAP, volume 11)

The present chapter and the next are devoted to analyses of industry allocations given different distributional constraints. These analyses are divided into two chapters because different computational techniques can be employed in the implementation of the model depending on the types of distributional constraints. In this chapter industry allocations determined with a linear programming routine will be analyzed. Industry allocations determined with an integer program will be examined in the next chapter.
