Flicker Fusion in Pericoecal Area

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Documenta Ophthalmologica Proceedings Series ((DOPS,volume 26))

Abstract

The pericoecal area is known to be the site of some early defects of the visual field. Flicker fusion frequencies, on turn, have been reported to be often altered when more classical Perimetric examination results are still unchanged. This work is intended to report ‘normal’ values for flicker fusion frequencies in this area based on the examination of four normal subjects.
