Le but de cette note n’est pas d’aborder le problème en toute son ampleur, à supposer que “toute son ampleur” ait un sens assignable.1 Il n’est même pas de l’aborder dans “toute son ampleur” chez Leibniz, car comment l’isoler dans un système où tout s’entr’exprime? On serait entraîné à reprendre tout le système (à supposer, ici encore, que ce tout ait un sens assignable). On se bornera donc à quelques marques (notae) caractéristiques.
