Abstract

In October 1978 the Veterinary Investigation Laboratory at Kericho initiated an investigation into cattle health with particular reference to calves in the Trans-Mara Division of Narok District, Kenya. This investigation led to intensive studies on the epidemiology of theileriosis, in co-operation with the Veterinary Research Department, Muguga.
