Abstract
By observing the changing distribution patterns on serial scintigrams the uptake of Ida-derivatives from the blood stream into the hepatocytes and their subsequent secretion into the gall-bladder and intestine can be followed. Deviations from the normal pattern can be used to identify obstructive disease, gall-bladder abnormalities and hepatocyte malfunction.
