Abstract

From 1959 to 1979, 2414 bronchographies were performed in the Pneumological Department of Harburg General Hospital. In relation to the 23,666 bronchoscopies performed during the same period, the percentage of bronchographies to bronchoscopies decreased rapidly from an initial 94% to a nearly constant final 5%.
