Abstract
The flexible bronchoscope has achieved wide acceptance as diagnostic and therapeutic tool in various pulmonary disorders. This report involves 105 consecutive cases of bronchial biopsy and brush including both clinical and radiological evidence of bronchopulmonary diseases,the flexible fiberoptic bronchoscope offers increased diagnostic capabilities and a low complication rate. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of bronchial forcep biopsy compared to bronchial nylon brushing in diagnosis of suspected bronchopulmonary disease.
