Abstract

The prognosis for a patient with a genitourinary neoplasm differs according to tumour cell activity and invasion, delay in diagnosis and adequacy of treatment. All patients presenting with haematuria, whether painful or not, unexplained dysuria, a loin mass, a prostatic hard area or a testicular lump should be assumed to have a neoplasm until proven otherwise.
