Abstract
Coats’ disease is probably based on a developmental disorder of, especially, the peripheral retinal vasculature. This is why this disease should be discussed here. There is another argument for presentation of this disease: in some cases the fundus features of Coats’ disease may resemble those of DEVR. It is therefore important also to consider the differential diagnosis.
