Abstract
Lake Grevelingen is a brackish water lake in the SW Netherlands. The lake has an area of 108 km2, a mean depth of 5.3 m (maximum 48 m), a mean chlorinity of 13 to 16%0 Cl-, and a hydraulic residence time of about 8 years.
