Abstract

This annotated bibliography spans the years between 1960 and 1981, but most of the publications date from 1973 onwards and reflect the creation of the Hydrobiology Research Unit at the University of Zimbabwe. The main section of the bibliography lists those works which have appeared in the scientific literature, whilst higher degree theses are given in the addendum. Unpublished Government and University reports, whilst numerous, have not been included as many of these were of limited distribution and hence are not widely available outside of their parent institutions.
