Abstract

Up until now there has not been available a uniform catalogue of white dwarfs which contains all the available principle data. Previously, various authors, including Eggen and Greenstein (1965, 1967), Luyten (1962), Greenstein (1972), and Greenstein et al. (1976) have presented restricted lists of the number of white dwarfs and their individual characters, etc.
