Performance of 1 KW Peak Concentrating Photovoltaic Array

Summary

The R.A. concentrating photovoltaic array has been measured during its first year of operation. Electrical, optical and mechanical performances are presented in this paper. The overall efficiency is 4%. This low value is due to non uniform illumination and to dispersion of the solar cell characteristics.
