Summary
Inclusion compounds /complexes/ of different substances with β-cyclodextrin were studied with the TG, DSC, and EGA methods. In most cases, thermal analysis was found to be suitable to determine the complex character of the samples. The complex nature can be verified studied by of the three methods in different cases, e.g. EGA is the most suitable for the detection of ethereal oil β-cyclodextrin complexes, DSC is for paracetamol and TG for HBr complexes.
