Abstract
After three years of monthly monitoring of THM’s in different points of a treatment plant, a study of the efficiency of a granular activated carbon filter has been performed in connection with different parameters of raw water. We present here the evolution of the efficiency both for total THM’s and for each compound individually considered. The peculiar point in this raw water is a very high content of chlorides and bromides.
