A Search for Hertzian Waves Emanating From the Sun

As part of the project at Mount Blanc Observatory, which M. Janssen was willing to assign to me for the month of last September, I have conducted various experiments with the object of determining whether the Sun emits electromagnetic waves. Indeed it seems natural to assume that this star, an intense source of luminous and caloric radiations, should likewise emit electric undulations, these being of an identical nature to light and the caloric radiation.
