Pancreatic Carcinoma in Children in Japan — Review of the Japanese Literature

Abstract

Primary carcinoma of the pancreas is mostly observed in individuals over 40 years of age, and has rarely been seen in children. A review of the world literature reveals about 60 cases of primary carcinoma of the pancreas in children 15 years of age and under [1–5].
