The Judicial Investigation

  • Marc Jansen
Part of the Studies in Social History book series (SISH, volume 7)

The judicial investigation was concerned with all the activities of the PSR since October 1917. A great many affairs were therefore discussed during the two months that the trial lasted, and it would be going too far to try to deal with all of them. It is possible to form a good impression of the character of the judicial investigation, however, by examining the ways in which some of the most important issues were handled: the attack on Lenin, the Tambov uprising, the activities of the Socialist Revolutionaries abroad, contacts with the Union for the Regeneration, and contacts with the Allies.
