Abstract

The positivity of direct Coombs, reported recently, has certainly shaken a number of workers. I should like to be enlightened as to the possible explanation and to hear the experiences of other workers. Ever since this report came out, we have tried to be more careful with the direct Coombs test, as well as looking at the various types of sera which we were getting, but somehow we have not been able to get the results that were quoted earlier.
