Abstract
A review of the published literature on offshore island technology was carried out to supplement “in-house” knowledge on the construction of all types of islands. A selected bibliography is attached as Appendix C. Articles on planned and constructed islands in Europe, Canada, the United States of America and Japan are included. References are also given to works on design criteria and parameters where these are relevant.
