Abstract
There are nearly as many occasions that a child brought to the doctor because of behaviour problems or difficulties as for acute illness. Unlike acute illness, in which there is usually a simple clear-cut cause and treatment, behavioural problems require time, patience and understanding to sort out. Some of these problems are discussed below.
