Part of the book series: Developments in Hydrobiology ((DIHY,volume 12))

Abstract

The results presented concern the functional anatomy of the head of Puntius filamentosus, P. chola, P. dorsalis, P. sarana, and Rasbora daniconius from the Parakrama Samudra reservoir, Sri Lanka, with respect to feeding. These species represent a spectrum of interdependent forms and functions.
