Abstract
I will divide my short communication into two parts. The first part will be devoted to some Belgian data on the atmospheric PAH-concentrations and their evolution. The second part will summarize the reactions of a public health official, who is responsible for the evaluation of the risks related to the PAH in the exhaust gases, and this in the context of the air pollutants in general and of the various risks related to PAH in the modern style of life.
