Abstract
Radio jets, which provide the most direct evidence for supply of energy from the nuclei of active galaxies to the outer extended lobes, are believed to arise largely from the inefficiencies in the energy transport processes. These jets exhibit a wide variety of structures (Browne 1983; Fomalont 1983), possibly providing clues to the different physical processes responsible for their observed morphology. In this paper, we present maps of three interesting radio jets, two of them, 1033+003 and 1759+211, associated with galaxies and one, 1857+566, with a high redshift quasar. These sources were observed at the VLA as part of programs to study the radio properties of a large number of galaxies and quasars. They will be discussed in detail elsewhere (Saikia, Cornwell and Kapahi 1982; Saikia, Shastri, Cornwell and Banhatti 1982).
