Summary
The purchase and installation of equipment to measure the separate components of global solar radiation on a vertical south-facing surface at Valentia Observatory was completed in April 1981 and data collection commenced on 1st May 1981. Participation in Action 4.2 was solely concerned with the purchase and installation of this equipment while the analysis of the recorded data is included under Action 3.2.
