Abstract
Perkin-Elmer have recently introduced a new computer with unique features geared for the simulation industry. Its name is 3200 MultiProcessing System (3200 MPS). This computer was actually specified by a large simulation customer and then implemented, built and marketed by Perkin-Elmer. Before talking about the 3200 MPS let me however, give you a bit of background about Perkin-E1mer’s computer history.
