Abstract

Galaxies of redshifts Vr<2600 km/sec from the Rood Catalogue (1980) with coordinates, position angles (PA) and diameters subsequently taken from UGC (Nilson 1973) served as the observational basis for our study. Four samples were considered: I-all galaxies, II-galaxies with m<l2m.5, III-galaxies with determination of PA and diameters estimated in UGC as certain, IV-the product of sample II and III. Galaxy morphological types were also taken into account.
