Summary

An important objective of the CEC Photovoltaic Pilot Projects Programme is to gather information which will lead to the optimisation of future pv systems in terms of performance, reliability, durability and cost.

This paper, an up-date of previous documents, sets out the monitoring requirements regarded as essential if this aim is to be achieved and makes proposals for the centralised collection and analysis of the data, leading eventually to a published report.
