Abstract
Barriers to internal rotation have been determined using infrared and Raman spectroscopy for some inorganic species. The methods used for the determination of these barriers will be described for a high barrier (BCℓ2SH), a medium barrier (PF5, AsF5 and VF5) and a low or zero energy barrier (B(CH3)3).
