Abstract
I think we will start off with some general open discussion for about 45 minutes, and then we will start the talks along with a brief comment by Erhard Krempl. Aris Phillips and Rod Clifton will speak on relating experimentation to the development of constitutive laws. Karl Pister will then give a short presentation on rate equations for finite deformation elasticity; Gordon Johnson on material characterization for high velocity impact and explosive detonation; and finally, Mike Gross on the CAVS model for jointed rock. We will then finish off with some more unfinished business.
