Abstract

When one presents a discussion on the ‘fundamental fault in hypertension’, one must decide which of the ten or more models of experimental hypertension represents human hypertension. In my opinion, all models are applicable. Hypertension must be the consequence of the failure of one of the several mechanisms related to the control of the circulation and the blood pressure.
