Abstract

This paper concerns only the surgical management of intersex patients who are to be reared as female. It will deal predominantly with the management of the genetic female with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, but what will be said about the surgery required for this category of patient is appropriate with some modification for other intersex patients whose gender role is to be female.
