Abstract

Microsurgery is a recent advance in modern surgery, and its advancement has greatly modified surgical techniques. Many operative procedures which could not be attempted in the past can now be performed successfully by using microsurgical technique. In addition, microsurgery has greatly increased the accuracy and safety of many surgical techniques and has facilitated composite tissue transfers.
