Abstract

If you want to address such an ambitious question as that on the differences and similarities between economic and ecological theory it might be necessary to start with a statement on personal perspectives. Of course there is nothing like a homogeneous body of theory, in either economics or ecology, that can be compared. There is also no such thing as a single objective outsiders elevated judgement.
