Abstract
We have seen in §3,5 that the relativity of simultaneity and of time and length observations are theoretical consequences of Einstein’s principles and measurement definitions as embodied in the Lorentz transformation. In terms of a fundamental reference frame, these results can be interpreted as anisotropy effects due to motion in this frame.
